Disc 1: The Birth of The Liverpool Sound Taken from radio station reel-to-reel master tapes, this is the entire 13-hour BBC special on The Beatles that originally aired in 1972. Limited edition of 150 numbered and embossed copies, brown cover with cue-sheet booklet. Limited edition of 20 additional numbered copies, white cover, special "John Ono Lennon 1940-1980" issue, released Christmas 1980. All sets had hardbound leather covers with 13 individual cardboard jackets bound inside to hold the 13 picture discs. Each picture disc and jacket had a different cover, front and back. This set is currently, and has always been since its release, the rarest and most sought after of all bootleg records by any artist. It is currently valued at $800-$1,200 (February 2024) and has always been nearly impossible to find since its origional release.
