She's Leaving Home acetate
The original acetate from Brian Epstein's personal collection for the Sgt. Peppers song, She's Leaving Home. The title was written on the label as "She is Leaving Home.". This is from the famous collection of the late Gareth Pawlowski, who obtained 59 original acetates from Brian's brother, Clive, on a trip to England in June 1978. His only requirement to Gary was that he make a small donation to a local charity.
Upon Gary's untimely death in 1995, the acetates were sold through his estate to various collectors. Many of them also ended up in a large auction in 1997 and quickly sold for prices ranging from $1000-$3500.00. Most of the discs were only in good to vg condition. The She's Leaving Home acetate, perhaps the most desirable title in the collection, was one of the best condition discs, with a vg+ grading.
