Cavern Club brick
An original brick from the Cavern club in Liverpool. 5000 of the bricks were salvaged by Royal Life in England in 1983 and were sold for $7.00 each. The proceeds were donated to a local charity. A plaque certifying their authenticity was glued to each brick. All of the bricks were sold out within the first year, and in the late 1980s one was sold at auction for over $500 by Sotheby's.
