This rare promotional CD was made for Capitol executives and special attendees of an exclusive party to celebrate employee Dave Lawson's 40 years of service with Capitol Records. Issued at the 1987 Manufacturing & Engineering Conference held in St. Louis and Jacksonville, less than 100 copies are estimated to have been pressed. The 15 track CD contains the Beatles song Penny Lane. The front and back covers features a parody of the Sgt. Pepper album, with a photo collage of Capitol executives and employees. |
